Job summary

The WorkPlace is seeking a Job Developer for the Veteran Program in New Haven County to build employer relationships and create meaningful job opportunities for veterans. You will lead outreach to healthcare, retail, hospitality, and other sectors, track placement metrics, and partner with recruitment, coaching, and marketing teams to deliver outcomes that align with organizational goals.

Experience with veterans, sales acumen, and strong presentation skills are valued.

Qualifications

Relationship-building with employers and clients.
Provide excellent customer service to employers and job seekers.
Knowledge of CRM or ATS software.
Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

Develop Employer Relationships to understand staffing needs and create opportunities.
Create Job Opportunities by identifying openings suited to job seekers.
Sales and Outreach to generate job openings.
Metrics and Goal Tracking to ensure targets are met.
Candidate-Employer Matchmaking to pair jobs with candidates.
Collaboration across recruitment, career coaching, and marketing teams.
