Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado seeks a Program Manager to lead the Veteran Transitional Housing Program (GPD), overseeing staff, budgets, and compliance to deliver trauma-informed, housing-focused services to veterans experiencing homelessness.

This role requires coordinating with funders, ensuring grant compliance, and driving outcomes such as housing placement and employment. Travel within the service area and on-call rotations are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with supervisory or management experience.
• Experience leading housing, nonprofit, or human services programs.
• Proven ability to manage grant agreements and budgets while ensuring compliance.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Veteran Transitional Housing Program (GPD) with trauma-informed, housing-focused services.
• Supervise staff and manage program operations and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with VA, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with funders and VOACO statewide field office to sustain service quality.
• Monitor performance outcomes and develop action plans for program goals.
