Allpro Staffnet d/b/a Allpro Homecare in Knoxville, TN is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide non-medical home care for veterans in a supportive team. The role emphasizes companionship, daily living assistance, and a respectful, safe home environment.

Duties include light housekeeping, meal prep with client input, transfers, bathing, grooming, and reporting changes to the administrator. They offer flexible scheduling, both part-time and full-time hours, and comprehensive onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check (then every 2 years thereafter).
• State-required SOR and Abuse Registry check (then annually).
• State-required Personal Reference Check.
• State-required 5-year employment history checks.
• 1 year caregiver experience.
• Valid driver s license/state ID and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation ( cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift).
• Help clients with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client input.
• Assist with toileting (bedpan or toilet).
• Report any unusual events to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete other duties per the Client Service Plan.
