Job summary

Valor Healthcare in Fort Pierce is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our Community Based Outpatient Clinic team. You will assist practitioners with patient care, physical examinations, and a range of tests, collaborating with the PACT team to develop patient care plans.

Requirements include BSN or Associate Degree RN, 2–3 years RN experience in primary/ambulatory care, VA credentialing, active state license, BLS and ACLS as required, strong English skills, and EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years’ RN experience in primary or ambulatory care, government/VA environment preferred.
• Active license in good standing in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification and ACLS as required by VA contract.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners with patient care, physical exams, and ancillary tests.
• Triages unscheduled patients and acts as a PACT Team point person.
• Provide patient and family health education focusing on self-management and wellness.
• Maintain VA and company training compliance and protect patient privacy.
