Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Commerce seeks a Career Employment Services Consultant I (S) at the Sanford NCWorks Career Center. This full-time role provides employment-related services to veterans, using a case-management approach to facilitate job placements and career development.

Recruitment range is $35,596 to $55,619 annually, with state benefits including health insurance and retirement. Travel to partner locations and service areas is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with related experience in HR, case management or placement.
• Associate degree plus two years in related public contact work.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide employment-related services to veterans using a case-management approach.
• Facilitate job placement for veterans and conduct outreach through veterans and civic organizations.
• Work in NCWorks Career Centers with travel to partner locations as needed.
