The North Carolina Department of Commerce's Division of Workforce Solutions seeks a Career Employment Services Consultant I (S) to deliver employment-focused services to veterans, emphasizing campaign badge veterans and those with service-connected disabilities.

This role is based in the Sanford NCWorks Career Center and focuses on intensive career services and successful job placement through a structured case-management approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to interview the general public to appraise interests, aptitudes, abilities and personality.
• Ability to explain state/federal rules to veterans and the public.
• Ability to review employment applications and evaluate work history, education and training.

Responsabilités

• Provide employment-related services to veterans using a case-management approach.
• Conduct intensive career services and facilitate job placement for veterans.
• Perform outreach through veterans and civic organizations to locate and assist target groups.
