This position is based within a local Win Job Center or similar workforce facility, with regular travel within the assigned region. Conduct comprehensive assessments of veterans’ skills, employment needs, career goals, and develop individualized employment plans. Provide personalized job readiness assistance, including résumé development, interview preparation, and targeted job search guidance. Connect veterans to supportive services such as housing, healthcare, training programs, and community-based resources. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the state case management system and comply with all federal JVSG requirements. Build and maintain relationships with employers to promote veteran hiring and identify employment opportunities across high growth industries. Provide employers with guidance on veteran recruitment, workforce incentives, and compliance with Priority of Service. Plan and participate in veteran-focused hiring events, job fairs, outreach activities, and workforce collaborations. Serve as a veteran workforce resource within the WIN Job Center and assist in advancing veteran-centered service strategies. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and pass an extensive background check.

What you'll need to be Successful

Strong case management proficiency with ability to maintain high documentation accuracy. Veteran centered communication with the ability to build trust, navigate Qualified Employment Barriers, and deliver individualized employment support. Effective partnership building skills and collaboration across agencies, employers, and workforce programs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic case management systems, and workforce databases.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of experience. Agency preferred qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university and at least five (5) years of experience in veteran services, workforce development, case management, employer engagement, or related human services work. Experience supporting individuals with Qualified Employment Barriers and prior involvement in outreach, partnership development, or training facilitation is strongly preferred. Experience providing individualized employment or case management services, including assessments, employment planning, and job readiness coaching. Background working with individuals facing Qualified Employment Barriers such as homelessness, justice involvement, disabilities, or other workforce challenges. Experience coordinating supportive services with workforce partners, community organizations, or training providers.
