This Time-Limited position is located at the State Veterans Home in Collins, MS. The second-level Support Care position is accountable for assisting residents with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, bed making, shaving, dressing, and other related tasks. Assists in checking vital signs, height, and weight as assigned; collects and maintains records of fluid intake and output; reports on the condition of residents; and participates in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
Typically requires High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 1-2 years of experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
