Job summary

Isuzu IVAP invites military veterans with mechanical experience to join a dealership service team as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice. You will assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles while learning through hands-on apprenticeship.

The program is a U.S. Department of Labor and GI Bill®-approved Registered Apprenticeship, providing guidance, referrals, and potential GI Bill benefits during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Experience in diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, aircraft, generator, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical systems.
• Hands-on maintenance experience preferred from military or civilian roles.
• Ability to provide work references and pass background checks.
• Honorable military discharge or documented service status required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Work alongside dealership service teams and participate in on-the-job learning.
• Complete program-related apprenticeship requirements and assessments.
