Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a Home Care Professional to provide non-medical in-home support for a single veteran client in Letart, West Virginia. This role is scheduled for 18 hours per week with potential for additional hours as opportunities arise with the Veteran program.

The caregiver will accompany the client in daily activities, offer companionship, and ensure safety in the home, including managing basic care needs and mobility assistance. A dog-friendly environment is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Direct Support Professional preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background screening.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and companionship.
• Medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Provide compassionate senior care and home health support.
