Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will contribute to the Garner VA Primary Care (PACT) clinics, delivering nursing care to Veterans across age groups under RN/Nurse Manager supervision. Responsibilities include medication administration, patient teaching, and assisting with procedures.

Expect to work within established policies, maintain patient safety and documentation, and coordinate with the care team to ensure continuous, compassionate care for Veterans served by the Durham VA Health Care

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with authority to administer medications per local policies.
• Ability to provide direct nursing care and patient education under RN/MD supervision.
• Competence in basic nursing procedures and emergency response as needed.

• Provide direct nursing care to Veterans at Garner VA Primary Care clinics.
