Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking an Examiner Physician Assistant to conduct Compensation & Pension disability examinations for VA applicants in Nashua, NH. The role involves reviewing records, performing focused physicals, and delivering objective medical opinions to support VA determinations.

This is not a treatment role and does not involve prescribing or ongoing patient management; travel to other Loyal Source clinics is expected at ~10% and the schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by an institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Active, valid, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the United States.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including renewals.
• Strong documentation, communication, and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word, MS Outlook, and Adobe PDF.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Compensation & Pension disability examinations for Veterans per VA requirements.
• Review medical records, diagnostic testing, and supporting documentation before and during examinations.
• Perform focused physical assessments related to claimed conditions.
• Prepare objective, evidence-based medical opinions and complete required documentation accurately.
• Use examination and case management systems to organize workload and submit findings.
• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure reports are complete and timely.
• Maintain VA training, HIPAA, privacy standards, and Loyal Source policies.
• Support other Loyal Source clinics with approximately 10% travel.
