Job summary

A Veteran-focused automotive program offers military veterans the chance to become certified Kia Service Technicians. Participants will gain hands-on experience in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Kia vehicles, all while receiving support from fellow veterans. The program includes full-time employment and a GI Bill-approved apprenticeship leading to certification. Eligible veterans can also receive a housing allowance during training.

Qualifications

• Honorable discharge from military service.
• Valid driver's license from any state with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field.
• Willingness to complete and pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including various components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty request orders as per policies.
• Test drive vehicles to diagnose and repair components and systems.
• Perform services and repairs while ensuring optimal customer experience.

Skills

Technical or mechanical field experience

Valid driver's license

Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles
