Job summary
Kiavets is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to join their Automotive Service Technician team in Roslyn, PA. This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program, designed to help Veterans transition into the automotive industry by gaining hands-on experience while working towards Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, maintaining documentation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Preferred candidates possess strong troubleshooting skills, and basic automotive maintenance experience is a plus. Full-time opportunities available with support provided through the GI Bill®.
Qualifications
Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is necessary.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
Complete repair orders and warranty documentation per dealership policies.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following safety procedures.
