Job summary

Kiavets in Bristol, TN, is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the Automotive Service Technician role as part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). This full-time position offers hands-on dealership experience and leads to Kia Service Technician certification. Veterans will receive training, tools, and support while being eligible for a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during the one-year apprenticeship. Candidates must possess an honorable discharge from U.S. Military Service and prior mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is required.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
