Job summary

Ers Elite is seeking U.S. Military Veterans with an Honorable Discharge and 3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience to join our service team as an Automotive Technician. Your background may come from military service, civilian work, or a combination, and is welcomed.

The role focuses on diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, with adherence to manufacturer procedures. We offer a GI Bill-approved apprenticeship toward Kia Service Technician certification, plus potential Monthly Housing Allowance

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Military Veteran with an Honorable Discharge; documentation required.
• Must have three or more years of hands-on mechanical experience through military service, civilian work, or a combination of both.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and willingness to learn
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, repair instructions, and schematics
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Clean background and ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements
• Ability to perform essential technician duties, with reasonable accommodation as applicable
• Availability to begin full-time employment promptly

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
• Inspect and service brakes, steering, suspension, engines, and other vehicle systems
• Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership repair procedures
• Document completed work and communicate repair recommendations to the service team
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
• Participate in technical training to strengthen automotive knowledge and repair skills
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow workplace safety procedures
• Work with technicians and service leadership to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
