Elite seeks U.S. military veterans with an honorable discharge to join the service team as an Automotive Technician. This role emphasizes hands-on mechanical experience from military or civilian work and offers a long-term automotive career with ongoing training.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles using diagnostic tools, manuals, and manufacturer procedures, while advancing toward Kia Service Technician certification through a GI Bill®-approved apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Military Veteran with an Honorable Discharge.
• At least 3 years of hands-on mechanical experience (military or civilian).
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, repair instructions, and schematics.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.
• Willingness to start full-time promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluids, and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
• Inspect and service brakes, steering, suspension, engines, and other systems.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership repair procedures.
• Document completed work and communicate repair recommendations to the service team.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Participate in technical training to strengthen automotive knowledge and skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with technicians and service leadership to complete repairs efficiently.
