Job summary

Kiavets in Hamburg, PA is seeking Military Veterans to join their Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Program. This full-time role provides hands-on experience and supports Veterans transitioning into the automotive industry. As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, candidates will diagnose and repair Kia vehicles while completing a one-year, GI Bill®-approved apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Applicants must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
• Basic automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors for a positive customer experience.

Skills
