Job summary

A vehicle technician apprenticeship program for Veterans is seeking candidates to become Kia Certified Service Technicians. Participants will receive full-time employment with a Kia Retailer, access to training and tools, and the chance to gain certification. Candidates should have a valid driver's license and experience in a technical field, with an honorable discharge required. The apprenticeship will also permit eligible Veterans to apply for a GI Bill Housing Allowance during their training.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have an honorable discharge.
• Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engine and electrical components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests per established policies.
• Test drive vehicles and analyze, diagnose, and repair systems using Kia diagnostics.
• Communicate with the shop foreman and service advisor for customer experience.
