Job summary

A participating Kia Retailer in Michigan is seeking skilled Veterans for a full-time Kia Certified Service Technician apprenticeship. Candidates will diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles. Applicants must have an honorable discharge and experience in a technical field. This unique program, designed for Veterans, offers access to tools and training to achieve Kia Service Technician certification. Eligible participants may receive a GI Bill Housing Allowance during the program.

Qualifications

• Must have an honorable discharge from military service.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field is necessary.
• Willingness to pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including all major systems.
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests per Kia policies.
• Conduct test drives and analyze vehicle components.
• Communicate effectively with the shop foreman to ensure a positive customer experience.
