What's the difference between Vetco Vaccination Clinics and Vetco Total Care Hospitals?

VETCO VACCINATION CLINICS offer wellness exams, preventive vaccinations, medications, heartworm testing, and microchip insertion. No surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits. Staff run operations, transactions, and help safely restrain pets. Clinics are located inside Petco stores. Appointments help manage traffic and ensure timely departures.

VETCO TOTAL CARE HOSPITAL relief shifts include preventive care, diagnostics, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will partner with the area medical director before shifts to review case comfort levels. Hospitals are equipped with digital records, surgical suites, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, and on-site labs. Staff are licensed and trained. No overnight or emergency on-call shifts. The appointment-based model helps manage traffic and ensures timely departures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine license in good standing
• Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions, including blood draws and vaccinations
• DEA license in good standing preferred for full-service Vetco Total Care shifts
• Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance and license defense policy
• Compliance with all local, state, and federal mandates
