Job summary

Sequist Animal Hospital in Morristown, Vermont, is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to lead from the floor, develop a high-performing team, and elevate patient care. This hands-on leadership role focuses on training, scheduling, compliance, and collaboration with DVMs to ensure high-quality medical standards and a positive client experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong technical skills in surgery, anesthesia, patient care, and workflow coordination.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (DEA, medical documentation).
• Experience with veterinary software (EzyVet, VetSnap) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the technician team throughout the day (working supervisor).
• Create and maintain technician schedules, assignments, and workflow efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members at all skill levels.
• Ensure adherence to medical protocols, safety standards, and compliance.
• Partner with DVMs and leadership to support patient care quality.
• Drive accountability while fostering a positive, team-first culture.
• Assist with inventory, equipment oversight, and surgical flow.
• Participate in marketing initiatives.
