Texas A&M University’s Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Pharmacy Technician I to support the pharmacy team in daily operations, dispensing, and patient care. The role requires strong communication with faculty, staff, students, and clients and adherence to pharmacy regulations.

The position is based in College Station, TX, with a daytime schedule Monday through Friday and occasional weekends. Starting pay is $17/hour, commensurate with experience.

Competenze

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of experience in a health-related field.
• Preferred: two years in a health-related field, with one year in a hospital pharmacy; degree in biomedical sciences; licensed Pharmacy Technician.

Mansioni

• Interprets, fills, and dispenses orders and prescriptions accurately.
• Maintains and reconciles records of controlled substances and performs inventory tasks.
• Interacts with clients, faculty, staff, students, and administrators to ensure clear pharmacy communications.
• Trains on equipment use and supports endoscopy and Cubex dispensary systems.
