Job summary

Texas A&M University in College Station seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician I for University Health Services. Under supervision, you prepares prescription orders, supports pharmacists, and assists customers at the Beutel Health Center on TAMU Main Campus.

Requirements include a high school diploma, one year of related experience, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy certification. This is an in-person 10-month position with commensurate pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical duties related to preparation of prescription orders.
• Assists in distribution of pharmaceuticals to Student Health Services.
• Answer basic questions in person or by phone and refer to the pharmacist when needed.
• Process outdated medications for disposal.
