Covetrus in Phoenix seeks an entry-level Pharmacy Technician to support non-sterile compounding under supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Learn SOPs, assist in preparation, and help maintain records and inventory.

You should be detail oriented, able to follow USP standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced veterinary-focused environment. Prior tech experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry level compounding position; pharmacy technician background preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain CPhT license/registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision of a licensed pharmacist in non-sterile compounding.
• Apply SOPs, participate in dosage form training, and learn USP standards.
• Maintain documentation of compounded medications, lot numbers, and expirations.
• Monitor inventory and place orders as needed
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team to ensure timely compounding orders
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, compliant work area
