Job summary

Colorado State University’s Veterinary Health System seeks a Nutrition Clinical Coordinator to support setting and maintaining consultations (virtual & in-person) for nutritional support across a national client base. You will assist in the veterinary residency program and supervise student hourly staff within the veterinary food room.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Substitutions: associates degree with 3 years veterinary experience, or high school diploma/GED with 5 years veterinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Patient Care & Triage: assess nutrition needs and identify urgent appointments.
• Service Coordination & Communication: manage client and referring veterinarian communications, records, and reminders.
• Manage all voicemail and email communications with timely distribution of information.
• Client Care & Experience: educate clients and provide support during in-person and virtual visits.
• Food Room & Inventory Management: oversee inventory, supplier relations, and stock.
• Patient Handling & Diagnostics: assist with patient restraint and blood sample handling.
• Teaching & Training: mentor students and staff on nutritional management strategies.
