Job summary

A leading veterinary care organization in Hampton Bays is offering an externship for 3rd and 4th year veterinary students. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with veterinarians, gain hands-on clinical experience, and participate in various medical tasks, including diagnostics and surgical assistance. A travel/living expense stipend of $1,000 is available. Training and mentorship are included to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a veterinary student in the clinical portion of their education.
• Ability to gather patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Experience or willingness to observe and assist in surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarians.
• Participate in gathering patient histories and performing diagnostics.
• Assist in the creation of treatment plans and medical management.
