A leading global pet care organization is offering a veterinary externship in Shorewood, Wisconsin. This program provides veterinary students the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience, working alongside an Associate Veterinarian. Students will enhance their skills in patient care, diagnostics, and communication within a supportive environment. A travel/living expense stipend is available for participants.

Qualifications

• Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for the externship.
• Ability to gather patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with supervising Associate Veterinarian to gain hands-on clinical experience.
• Assist in diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Practice communication skills with team and clients.
