• Externees are veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education.

Responsibilities

• Follow doctors in appointments and perform physical exams.
• Help create diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Follow through with client communication and treatments.
• Assist in surgery and, as able, perform minor procedures solo including spays and neuters.
