Goffstown Animal Hospital in Manchester, NH is hiring a Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our four-doctor, small-animal practice. This full-time role offers a four-day work week with rotating Saturdays, no nights, and the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• Experienced Veterinary Assistant or credentialed Veterinary Technician
• Willingness to work four-day weeks with rotating Saturdays
• Commitment to animal care and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Perform venipuncture and support fluid therapy
• Obtain radiographs and maintain imaging standards
• Run in-house lab tests (CBC/chemistry, urinalysis, cytology)
• Educate clients with compassion and confidence
• Maintain medical records and patient charts
• Communicate care plans and discharge instructions to clients
