Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary assistant experience preferred.
- Ability to properly restrain pets.
- Proficiency in sample collection, medical histories, lab tests and radiographs is a bonus.
- Self-starter with desire to advance knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities
- Pet restraint and triage incoming patients.
- Collect and analyze lab samples; perform diagnostic imaging.
- Provide nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases; administer meds.
- Communicate treatment plans effectively with clients; assist in surgical prep and anesthesia management.
