Qualifications

• NAVTA-certified veterinary assistant program or equivalent required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow NAVTA guidelines for VA duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient flow and comfort for clients and pets.
• Communicate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
• Carry out procedures that do not require a veterinarian or tech.
• Adhere to hospital standards to keep areas clean and safe.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Mentor other members of the hospital team.
