Job summary

Boston Veterinary Clinic – Seaport is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our Fear Free team. You will work with a three-doctor staff in a modern hospital, assisting with patient care, histories, and restraints while learning across surgery, dentistry, and urgent care.

The role offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment in the Seaport district, with four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Saturday availability, and opportunities for long-term growth within a growing multi-location network.

Veterinary Assistant – Full Time

$22–$27/hour

Boston Veterinary Clinic – Seaport is looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our collaborative, Fear Free team! If you're passionate about patient care, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are looking for a long-term veterinary home, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule
  • Full-time (36–40 hours per week)
  • Four 10-hour shifts
  • Monday–Saturday availability required
  • Rotating Saturdays (hospital is open every other Saturday)
  • Shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM
Compensation

$22–$27/hour, based on experience

What You'll Bring to the Team
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Confidence and skill in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills ranging from laboratory and pharmacy to nursing and radiology is a strong asset.
