Job summary

Mission Pet Health seeks a Veterinary Assistant for Boston Veterinary Clinic in Charlestown, MA. This full-time role requires animal handling experience and a patient, compassionate approach to care for dogs and cats.

You will assist doctors and technicians, support scheduling and client communication, and contribute to a low-stress, Fear Free environment. Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays provide the schedule.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Calm and efficient approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence handling pets of all sizes and temperaments.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in fundamental veterinary skills is a strong asset.

You will also play a crucial role in providing Sick and Urgent Pet Care, utilizing the latest medical guidelines to ensure every pet receives the best possible outcomes. The Boston Veterinary Clinic is situated in the historic and vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts, specifically at 50 Hood Park Drive in the Charlestown neighborhood. Hospital Hours
