Job Description

• Additionally, the Physical Therapist II will provide Physical Therapy services within an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.

• This individual will demonstrate accountability for, and contribution to, the Department's daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested

• Exhibit fiscal responsibility through accurate time-keeping of assigned work shifts (which includes compliance with management-designated start/end times)

• Participate in program development and quality improvement activities as requested by management

• Adhere to the Department's established productivity standards.

• All responsibilities will be carried out in a manner reflective of El Camino Health's We Care values and Medical Staff Code of Conduct and Professional Behavior.

• Position is enterprise wide, employees will be required to float between campuses.

Qualifications

• Completion of Accredited Physical Therapy Program; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred

• Minimum of 3 years' experience; if working in NICU, at least one year experience in NICU care

• Meets Career Ladder requirements of Level II Therapist

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

Current valid California Physical Therapy license

Current BLS (Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association) for Healthcare Provider

CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU/OP Pediatrics

Ages of Patients Served

This position can serve the following age groups: neonate/child (0-3), child (4-12), adolescent (13-17), adult (18-64), and older adult (65+).

Salary Range

$62.76 - $83.41 USD Hourly

Medium Work - Requires standing the majority of the shift with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing and squatting. - (Physical Requirements-United States of America)
