Job summary

Stand-By Personnel is seeking 2 Vessel Fitters for a temp-to-hire manufacturing role in Tulsa, OK. Pay is $25.00-$35.00 per hour based on experience, with a Monday–Thursday schedule and three-day weekends.

Responsibilities include laying out, fitting, and assembling vessel and structural components to blueprints and drawings, while maintaining quality and safety standards. Ideal candidates have strong blueprint-reading and measurement skills and can work independently with fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in vessel/tank fabrication.
• Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols and specs.
• Strong layout and measurement skills.
• Experience using measuring tools (tape measures, squares, levels).
• Capable of independent work and collaborating with welders.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication specifications.
• Lay out, fit and assemble vessel and structural components.
• Measure, mark, position and align materials for fabrication and welding.
• Use hand and power tools for fit-up and assembly.
• Verify positioning and dimensional accuracy before welding.
• Inspect work and make adjustments to meet quality standards.
