Responsibilities

• Serve as Vessel Documentation Assistant and be responsible for commercial vessel documentation or recreational vessel documentation, or elements of both.
• Provide technical support for vessel documentation activities, including issuances of abstracts of title or certificates of documentation renewals.
• Develop and complete mail and applications assembly, scan incoming mail, and calculate user fees for NVDC services.
• Print and mail thousands of COD renewal notices monthly, and handle related correspondence and renewals.
• Research issues with applications, rescanning unreadable forms, and routing applications correctly to vessel folders.
• Assist with processing renewal notices returned undeliverable and handle inquiries about COD renewals via phone, mail, and email.
