Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure, to support Abbott Vascular in the Seattle area. The role focuses on education, service, and training of customers in hospital settings to promote vessel closure products and drive sales growth.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with 2–5+ years of related experience and the ability to travel up to 50% within the region. This is a field-based opportunity within a dynamic medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
• Focuses on Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff to support the Vessel Closure portfolio.
• Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and discuss how vascular products meet goals.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Provide clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals and increase market share.
• Educate customers on merits and proper usage of products via presentations and demos.
• Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products.
