Job summary

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure in California (Santa Barbara/Bakersfield). You will plan cases, provide coverage, and pull-through products across the region, educating clinicians and driving sales in the hospital setting.

Educate staff on vascular devices, support case coverage, and collaborate with sales, clinical research, and marketing to achieve sales goals while advancing patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ~2-5+ years of related work experience.
• ~Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff to support Vessel Closure portfolio.
• Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and discuss how Vascular products can help them.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and serve as primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education.
• Educate customers on merits and proper clinical usage of products via presentations and demonstrations.
• Attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing feasible solutions with related personnel.
