Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Vessel Closure, to support the California territory from Santa Barbara to Bakersfield. You will plan cases, provide case coverage, and drive pull-through sales while educating hospital staff on the Vessel Closure product line.

You will promote vascular products through education and service, with travel across the territory and region as needed to meet sales goals. Abbott values diversity and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ~2-5+ years of related work experience.
• ~Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on Electrophysiologists and Interventional Cardiologists and hospital staff to support the Vessel Closure portfolio.
• Meet with existing and potential customers to identify clinical needs and discuss how Vascular products can help achieve goals.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and serve as primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education.
• Educate customers on products by giving presentations and demonstrations to keep customers informed of product, therapy, and technology developments.
• Attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room to ensure customer and patient success.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing creative solutions with related personnel.
