Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a dynamic Solution Manager with deep expertise in high-performance workstation systems to define and drive solutions for the Workstation product line. The role requires understanding customer needs and delivering strategic, well-architected solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable worldwide sales and customer success.

The candidate will lead roadmaps, manage resources, and coordinate GTM programs to deploy workstation solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering or business is desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience with workstation application, storage server, data center, or IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills and business sense; must have interfacing with customers.
  • Strong experience with AI/ML/Data Science applications is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms is a plus.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Domestic and international travel to meet customers for business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Create product solution roadmaps and develop strategy for deployment based on customer requirements.
  • Manage technical resources within the organization to address client needs.
  • Define and provide creative solutions to meet customer requirements of the market.
  • Develop and manage GTM programs and resources to drive workstation solutions with internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and technical members to resolve challenges.
  • Oversee deliverables and documentation as required.
  • Create positioning statements, marketing, sales training materials, product specifications.
  • Present training material to internal sales force and at customer sites; travel occasionally to visit customers and trade shows.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and ecosystem development with industry partners.
  • Drive technical issues to closure by coordinating resources with engineering teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Solution Manager with deep understanding of high-performance Workstation systems and applications to define and drive solutions for our Workstation product line. The ideal candidate would be able to understand the need of the customers and provide a well-thought-out solution to meet the customer's specifications and deliver outstanding service. This individual will have the capability to work together with cross-functional team to enable and champion Supermicro workstation solutions to worldwide sales team and customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

  • Create product solution roadmaps and develop strategy for successful product deployment based on deep understanding of customer requirements
  • Manage technical resources within the organization to address client needs when necessary
  • Define and provide creative solutions and overcome constraints to meet customer requirements of the demanding market
  • Develop and manage GTM programs and resources to drive workstation solutions with internal teams and customers
  • To understand and resolve challenges by collaborating with internal business partner and technical members
  • Oversee deliverables and documentation as required
  • Create positioning statements, marketing, and sales training materials, product specifications
  • Present training material to internal sales force as well as externally at customer sites. Travel periodically to visit customers and attend trade shows
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop ecosystem with partners in the industry
  • Drive technical issues to closure by arranging resources and engaging with other engineering team to duplicate and debug
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering or business discipline is desirable
  • 5+ years of experience with workstation application, storage server, data center, or IT infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills and business sense is required, must have prior experience in interfacing with customers
  • Strong experiences with AI/ML/Data Science applications are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms is a plus
  • Individual must be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Domestic and international travel to meet customers for business need
Salary Range

$145,000 - $160,000
