Job summary

Charter Communications seeks a Vertical Major Account Executive, Generalist to drive new business and nurture client partnerships across a defined territory in the United States. You will build relationships, design compelling proposals, and self-generate leads while collaborating with the Account Management Team to ensure client retention and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a consultative sales or account management role.
• 3+ years of sales experience exceeding revenue quotas, preferably in telecom B2B.
• Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative needs analyses with prospective clients to create customer-focused solutions
• Develop relationships with existing customers to upsell services and secure contract renewals
• Design and present sales proposals that address complex communication requirements of medium and large businesses
• Self-generate leads by reaching out to prospective clients via telephone, cold calls, visits, networking and industry events
• Qualify new leads, coordinate site surveys and submit ROI analyses to sales management
• Maintain accurate sales databases to report activity and customer information
• Collaborate with the Account Management Team and business services support groups to ensure seamless client handoff and retention
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance your sales knowledge

The base pay for this position generally is between $62,900.00 and $104,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $102,000.
