We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Vertical Head – Manufacturing for one of the rapidly growing Tech corporations. This role requires a proven leader with deep domain expertise, strong client engagement experience, and a successful track record of driving business growth in the Manufacturing sector through IT services and digital transformation.
As the Vertical Head, you will be responsible for driving the growth strategy, managing P&L, building strong client relationships, and aligning technology solutions with the evolving needs of manufacturing enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Vertical Leadership: Define and execute the business strategy for the Manufacturing vertical in alignment with organizational goals.
- Business Growth: Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
- Client Engagement: Build trusted advisor relationships with CXOs and decision-makers in key client organizations.
- Solutioning & Innovation: Collaborate with technology teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to the needs of manufacturing clients, including areas such as Industry 4.0, smart factories, supply chain digitization, and predictive maintenance.
- P&L Management: Own the vertical P&L; monitor budgets, margins, and profitability.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including value proposition development, marketing campaigns, and partnerships.
- Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team including sales, delivery, solution architects, and consultants focused on the Manufacturing sector.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in IT services with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Manufacturing sector clients
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale transformation projects in the manufacturing domain
- Strong understanding of digital technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, cloud, ERP (SAP/Oracle), PLM, MES, etc.
- Proven ability to lead P&L with accountability for top-line and bottom-line targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills
- Global experience or exposure working with clients in different geographies particularly North America
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Prior experience in consulting or working directly in a manufacturing organization
- Experience with large RFPs, contract negotiation, and strategic alliances
