Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Biologics MSAT Co-op in Boston for January–July 2027. You will work on data analytics projects supporting biologics manufacturing, data visualization, and process monitoring as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, data science, statistics, biology, chemistry, or related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Excel; exposure to JMP, Minitab, Power BI, Python, or R preferred.
• Ability to organize, clean, analyze, and clearly present complex datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; self-directed with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Compile, clean, organize, and analyze manufacturing, process, and product quality data from multiple sources.
• Develop repeatable data workflows, dashboards, visualizations, and statistical summaries.
• Perform trend analyses to identify process variability, signals, and improvement opportunities.
