Job summary

Louisiana State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty/curator position in the Department of Biological Sciences and Museum of Natural Science. The successful candidate will develop an independent, externally funded research program in vertebrate paleobiology and teach undergraduate and graduate courses while curating the Vertebrate Paleontology collection.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biological Sciences, Geological Sciences or related field.
• Successful track record of productive research and publication.
• Strong background in the curation of vertebrate paleontological collections.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an independent, extramurally funded research program in vertebrate paleobiology.
• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses and supervise graduate students.
• Curate the Vertebrate Paleontology collection at the Museum of Natural Science.
