Job summary

Paycom is seeking an adaptable Utility Technician to support manufacturing operations across the facility. The role involves bundling, stacking, reworking, material handling, quality inspections, and assisting production teams to maintain safe, efficient production lines.

Ideal candidates have basic manufacturing or warehouse exposure, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow written or spoken instructions. Training across departments may be provided to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required.
• Corrugated packaging industry experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to work in multiple departments and perform various tasks.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Bundle, stack, sort, and palletize corrugated products according to customer specifications.
• Restack products to meet quality and shipping requirements.
• Rework non-conforming products through relabeling, repacking, restacking, or other corrective actions.
• Assist machine operators and production personnel as directed.
• Remove scrap, waste, and excess materials from production areas.
• Supply materials and components to production lines as needed.
• Perform visual quality inspections and identify defects or quality concerns.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the facility.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently while meeting productivity expectations.
• Cross-train in multiple departments and perform duties where business needs require.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and workplace organization efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
