Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to step in for Route Service Representatives and ensure seamless service for customers across multiple routes. You’ll learn routes, load and deliver garments, and uphold safety and quality while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have a 21+ driver’s license, DOT compliance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role offers weekday daytime shifts, competitive compensation, and benefits as part of UniFirst’s commitment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• DOT requirements, including a physical exam, must be met.
• Able to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using new technologies to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and cover delivery routes as needed.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes; collect used items for return.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships.
• Resolve customer requests independently and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain invoices, perform inventory checks, and ensure vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow all safety standards and traffic laws; support new account installations and rerouting.
• Collaborate with Service, Management and other teams; communicate customer feedback to leadership.
