Job summary

Laborup is hiring Assembly Technicians for a large plastics manufacturer. This is a hands-on production role with components moving through assembly, finishing, inspection and packaging stages.

You will rotate across stations, use hand and pneumatic tools, and perform quality checks while preparing products for the next production step. Shifts include day or night rotation, with overtime and real opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical, hands-on production work throughout a 12-hour shift.
• Stand, bend, reach, lift, and handle materials regularly.
• Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and standardized processes.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Production Assembly: Assemble manufactured components according to established work instructions and production standards.
• Tools & Equipment: Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and in-line assembly equipment to complete production tasks.
• Quality Checks: Inspect components and finished products for defects, accuracy, and overall quality.
• Finishing & Packaging: Complete finishing, labeling, wrapping, strapping, packaging, and related downstream production activities.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, move, and organize components and finished products throughout the assembly process.
• Process Monitoring: Identify quality, production, or equipment issues that could create downtime or scrap.
• Production Documentation: Complete required production and quality records accurately.
• Cross-Training: Learn and rotate across multiple assembly stations as production needs change and your skills develop.
