Job summary

The Community Group in Lawrence, MA is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher to develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes growth and learning for young children. You will create a nurturing classroom, lead staff, and collaborate with families to support each child's progress.

Massachusetts EEC certification is preferred, with a minimum of 21 years of age. The role includes a $1000 new hire bonus and a $1000 retention bonus, paid training, and a structured

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification is required or preferred as stated.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Completed CORI, SORI and fingerprint checks per EEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Lead and train assistants, volunteers, and interns.
• Collaborate with team to design daily activities and routines.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
• Maintain records of student progress and communicate with families.
• Refer children to additional services when needed.
• Support with ongoing professional development and trainings.
