The Community Group in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher responsible for planning and delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth in young children. The role emphasizes a safe, engaging classroom and collaboration with staff.

You will lead activities, track progress, communicate with families, and support inclusivity while maintaining records and participating in professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and meet state licensing requirements.
• Experience with developmentally appropriate practices and inclusive classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Create a safe, engaging classroom environment that supports exploration.
• Lead and train assistants, volunteers, and interns to foster a nurturing space.
• Collaborate with colleagues to craft daily activities and routines.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and track each child's progress.
• Communicate progress to families and maintain records of achievements.
• Support children with special needs or referrals as needed.
• Attend staff and parent meetings and participate in trainings.
